About This Project
Our QA team was logging bugs in a shared Google Sheet that had 47 tabs and no clear owner. Severity was subjective, triage took longer than fixing, and engineers routinely closed tickets that testers considered still open. The process was destroying morale on both sides. oDesk designed and built a dedicated bug tracking tool with structured severity levels — trivial through critical — reproducibility flags, blocker classification, and version tagging. Triage meetings dropped from ninety minutes to fifteen. Release cycles tightened by three weeks. And for the first time, QA and engineering were reading from the same sheet — literally.
