Real-Time Chat Platform

Our field teams were coordinating jobs over WhatsApp group chats. Messages got lost, files disappeared after 30 days, there was no audit trail, and we had zero control over who was in which group. Compliance flagged it. HR flagged it. I flagged it and nobody had a better answer. oDesk built us a purpose-built real-time chat platform — threaded conversations per project, role-based channel access, file sharing with retention policies, read receipts, and push notifications on iOS and Android. Message delivery is under 200ms. The compliance team signed off in the first review. And our field coordinators actually prefer it over WhatsApp, which I honestly didn't expect.
